Festival Interceltique in Lorient 2023

From August 4 to 13, the 52nd edition of the Festival Interceltique de Lorient will take place, featuring Ireland.

For 50 years, this major event in Lorient has been showcasing Brittany around a unique concept: Interceltism. This festival is the fruit of the collaboration of many Celtic nations around Interceltism.  For 10 days, the town opens its doors to some 4,500 Breton and foreign artists from all over the world, including Scotland, Ireland, Wales, the Isle of Man, Cornwall, Asturias, Galicia and more. All these artists perform each year in front of more than 700,000 visitors, demonstrating the public's interest in a festival that contributes to the influence of Brittany and promotes the Breton Language throughout the world.
